The work
Carving out practical access on tough terrain.
What started as dense scrub and a steep bank is being transformed into a clean, functional access route.
Tackling overgrown hillside terrain requires the right machine and a methodical approach. Works began with heavy vegetation clearing using specialist rake attachments, stripping gorse, broom, and overgrown brush to assess natural contours and solid ground conditions.
With the hillside face cleared, our excavator cut in the initial bench, establishing a manageable gradient and shaping the track profile. This project is actively in progress — ongoing stages include fine-grading, drainage management, and aggregate sub-base placement to create a durable, all-weather accessway.
